Bolt snaps in stainless steel are superior to their brass counterparts, not at least in salt water.

The spring does not rust and the material is harder which means that the bolt snap cannot become twisted during use (as brass may). If the bolt snap is twisted, it may be hard to open.

The double ender may be used for:

• Holding the line on the spool.
• Holding several stage tanks together (with a loop of line).
• Prolonging scooter tow straps.
• And so on...
